I always love working with the staff at Soirees Southern Events, and this was my first time getting to shoot at the beautiful Willow Creek Farm venue that they manage. The property is absolutely stunning and full of spots for photos....so I was a happy camper! Kati chose a bright color scheme for all the florals, while sticking with a classic navy for the groomsmen suits and bridesmaid dresses - and it all came together beautifully! The perfect 'almost fall' wedding - full of fun little details like their Star Wars cake with 3-D printed cake toppers! My favorite moment of the day (if I had to choose just one) had to be when Kati was almost done getting ready, and about to put her shoes on, she asked her daughter, Maybin, if she looked pretty, and she quickly said "No! (pause)....You look gorgeous" and she got on the floor and put her mom's shoes on for her. Cue the heart melt. Such a pleasure capturing this special day for this family.
